Fruits/MY Plate

Why I like to eat fruits? So many benefits. Fruits are low in fat, low in sodium, low in calories, none have cholesterol. By eating fruits, I give my body essential nutrients such potassium, fiber, vitamin C and folate. Potassium, very important electrolyte for my heart and helps with good blood pressure. Some fruits that are rich in potassium are bananas, peaches, prunes, apricots, guava, kiwi. Fiber is important because it lowers cholesterol in my body, helps with my body digestion and gives a feeling of fullness so I would not overeat. Vitamin C makes my skin glow, great protection from infection, great for wound healing and healthy gums. So have some fruit daily. For more information e- mail me to
